Join the ASA Statistical Literacy Grassroots Campaign

Meet with your U.S. representative in his/her home district office

The American Statistical Association has launched a statistical literacy grassroots campaign and requests that you meet with your U.S. representative in his/her home district later this summer or early this fall about statistical literacy. With preparation under way for the reauthorization of the Elementary and Secondary Education Act (No Child Left Behind), this is a wonderful opportunity to educate our elected leaders about statistical literacy, its benefits, and the challenges toward achieving it.

For more information and to sign up, visit www.amstat.org/outreach/statliteracy/index.cfm?fuseaction=literarygrassrootscampaign. Contact ASA Director of Science Policy Steve Pierson for more information.
